First Grandchild: Grace Elizabeth
At 4:20 this morning, Erin & Justin became the proud parents of Gracie, their first child. She arrived a little prematurely, weighing in at 3 pounds 6 ounces, and standing 14 and a half inches tall. As you might expect, she is beautiful, petite, and complaining a bit. Seems she was not totally happy with conditions at Exeter Hospital where she was born, and so she's been brought to Elliot Hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire to find surroundings more to her liking. Mom is staying in the Special Care Unit in Exeter for a little while longer to get some rest before beginning her new life of tending to Gracie's wishes.
New Dad Justin made full use of his EMT training and was present for all the festivities. New Grandparents Jan, Sue, Dave and Tom along with honorary Grandmas Diane and Ann, were all at the hospital for the birth and are standing by, preparing for, and arguing over who gets first babysitting privileges.
Gracie has her own site and more photos. Go to www.GraciesPlace.blogspot.com
